Centerstone’s Volunteer Program Philosophy

Centerstone’s volunteer program provides rewarding, structured and supportive opportunities to those who desire to help people move out of poverty.  Our program enables people to connect and contribute to the community by fostering mutually beneficial volunteer relationships based on shared expectations.  We are respectful of volunteers’ time and commitment and acknowledge their contributions.

Volunteer with Us

Centerstone recently concluded the United Way of King County-sponsored Volunteer Impact Program. With the help of a team of consultants, we restructured our volunteer program to provide our volunteers with an even more meaningful experience. We are expanding our current volunteer positions so our volunteers can contribute their expertise in a variety of capacities, including tax preparation, photography, social media, translation services, case management, and more. We value our volunteers’ skills and look forward to hearing ideas on how to provide our clients with the very best service.

Current volunteer positions:

Food Bank Assistant, Food Bank In-Take Specialist, Food Bank Home Delivery Assistant, Outreach Aide, Financial Education Workshop Assistant, Community Resources Specialist.

Whether you want to volunteer as an individual, group, or to fulfill education credits, we would love to hear from you.
